Generating RSS Feeds from One Search

You can create RSS feeds in One Search that can be used in Feed Readers or embedded in web pages that list the most recent items that match your search, automatically updated.

The method to create the feed is quite simple, in One Search:

  1. Create your search string
  2. Apply any facets you want
  3. Sort by date descending
  4. Right click on the icon and copy the link address/location
  5. Paste that into a your news reader or embedded feed widget

An example of this process:

Search:

"Science fiction" AND (anthology or collection or (short stories))

Facets applied:

Content Type: Book/eBook
&
Results beyond library's collection included

The resulting feed URL:
