Pointers for posters

  • Treat your poster just as you would an essay, just in shorter form. It needs a beginning, middle and end.
  • At the beginning the 'Introduction' should let the reader know what the subject is and what your main points will be. The middle should include information providing evidence for your argument or main point. The 'Discussion &/or Conclusion' should show how the evidence leads you to your main point or argument.
  • Images are used to support your points. They should fit the design well - but most importantly they should be relevant.
  • Remember to follow the instruction in the Subject Outline.
