One Search is a good place to start searching for books, ebooks, journal articles, and our e-journal content all at once - about 100 million items at your fingertips courtesy of the JCU Library's print and electronic collections.
One Search provides a Google-like search experience, allowing researchers to use one search box to discover credible and reliable library content available online and in print from the Townsville, Cairns and Singapore campus libraries.
1. One search is a bit like using Google to search the library resources, and just like Google it will often bring you far too many results. So it's important to learn to use the refining options on the left of your One Search screen effectively to narrow your search to the good stuff.
2. You can also save items and then email them in your preferred referencing style.
3. Check out the reference list on any good articles you find. They are an excellent way to discover other good resources.
This is a guided, interactive tutorial of One Search.
