Readings at JCU

How to get the most out of your subject readings at JCU

What is Readings?

Readings helps lecturers create and maintain reading lists for students and automatically ensures that items digitised for student access are copyright compliant.

Students can find reading lists by logging in to My Courses in LearnJCU or by searching Readings for subject code, subject name or lecturer's name.

This means:

  • Easy access to subject-specific resources all in one place
  • The option to annotate and organise resource lists to help you make the most of your study time

You can find more information about using Readings in the Students tab of this guide.

To lecturers the system offers:

  • Assured copyright compliance and automated copyright reporting
  • Streamlined compilation of reading lists ‘as you go’
  • Tools to help you maximise the value of resource lists for students

You can find more information about using Readings in the Academics tab of this guide.
