Open Access Publishing

Open Access Champions

Open Access Champions are members of the JCU academic and research community who are familiar with the principles and models of Open Access publishing. They actively make their research available Open Access, and can act as a conduit between the Library and the college/centre they are representing in promoting Open Access activities, such as workshops and presentations to colleagues. They will be able to relay their own experiences with publishing Open Access, whether through self-archiving, through the Read and Publish Agreements, or by securing other APC funding, and will assist with highlighting/collecting JCU OA impact stories and will promote the library as the leading expert on OA publishing and the go-to for advice on Open Access publishing.
