A guide for teachers and students

Borrowing for community members

Community membership enables you to borrow physical resources like books and DVDs from the JCU Library. Online databases can only be accessed from the public access computers in the library.

Year 11 and 12 students

Students from local high schools are welcome to join the Library for a fee of $27.50 per annum. A parent or guardian must sign the registration form for students who are under 18 years of age.

Members of the public 

Members of the public are welcome to join the Library for a fee of $55.00 per annum (including GST). Payment is by credit/debit card or EFTPOS only. To join, please bring photo ID and proof of current address to the Library

To join please bring corporate ID and proof of current address to the Library.

Corporate members

Schools, organisations and businesses are welcome to join the Library for a fee of $55.00 per annum (including GST). Additional cards for borrowing can be provided if required. Borrowing privileges and conditions are the same as for community members.
