Community membership enables you to borrow physical resources like books and DVDs from the JCU Library. Online databases can only be accessed from the public access computers in the library.
Year 11 and 12 students
Students from local high schools are welcome to join the Library for a fee of $27.50 per annum. Consent from a parent or guardian is required for students under 18 years of age.
Members of the public
Members of the public are welcome to join the Library for a fee of $55.00 per annum (including GST). Payment is by credit/debit card or EFTPOS only. A photo ID and proof of current address is required for registration.
Corporate members
Schools, organisations and businesses are welcome to join the Library for a fee of $55.00 per annum (including GST). Additional cards for borrowing can be provided if required. Borrowing privileges and conditions are the same as for community members. A corporate ID and proof of current address is required for registration.
