Finding books on acadmeic writing

The JCU Library has quite a number of resources on Academic Writing.

You've recently seen how to search for resources using One Search, but try this for something new:

  1. From the search box on our home page, go to the Advanced Search Option.
  2. Drop down the box that says All Fields and change it to Subject Terms.
  3. Type Academic Writing in that search box, and hit Search.

You'll now see a list of results that all have "academic writing" as one of the subject headings applied to it.

When you are searching in One Search, if you notice that a lot of the most useful results have the same subject heading, you can click on that subject heading to run a search for anything with the same heading. Click on Preview on the records to see the subjects.
