Adv Dip Teaching Monash, MCA JCU, PhD VA JCU.

Currently living and working in Townsville, Barbara has pursued a career in creative arts and education since graduating from Atherton State High School in 1958. Her work - which includes sculptures, drawings, and mixed media – has featured in many exhibits and won multiple awards. Barbara’s work focuses on “the visual language of Christian spirituality” and explores interaction between the senses, spirituality, the creative process, and place, looking at the connection of the physical and spiritual.
