Creative Commons licensing gives the owner of a creative work the power to make that work freely available to users. This means anyone can look at the license and understand how to use the work for themselves without breaching copyright.
Look out for Creative Commons, or "CC" licensing when it comes to documents, images, videos, or other resources. There are six different license types, which range from most restrictive license to least restrictive. Each of the license types requires that credit must be given to the creator of the work.
