Creating Lavels using Avery Design Lab
- Purpose: To create labels in Avery Design lab

Logging into Avery Design & Print
- Log in to Avery Design & Print
- Address labels are located in the stationery room
- To create an address label:
- Click Open a Saved Project
- Click Open on the Off campus labels title
- If printing one label, click Edit One
- Choose the correct label position that matches the sheet of labels you have.
- Add the name and address
- Click Preview & Print
- Click Show Print Options
- Click Print Range and select Print from and choose the correct label number you wish to print. (In this example it is 4)
- Follow instructions to print the labels, using tray 5 on the printer options.
Creating new Designs
- Click on 1 Choose Template
- Choose the template you wish to apply by typing in the code on the label box
- Select the design you want to use
- Follow the "Editing a Design" Steps to finish your steps.
Accessing pre-made designs
- Click on Open a Saved Project
- Choose your pre-made design from the list
- Click Open to open the design
- Click on 2 Choose Design
- Choose landscape as your orientation, click on select and customize
- Find your design and click Select this Design
- It will then appear in the preview menu on the right hand side. Click Apply Design

Editing a design
- On the right hand side click on
- Edit One: If you are only editing one label
- Edit All: If you are editing them all
- To add text to the label, click Text on the left hand menu and then click Add Text Box
- To edit text already there click on the textbox and you are able to type and edit the text
- Edit the text to how you want it to look.
- You are also able to add Images or QR Codes using the options down the side
- Once you have made your design click preview and print
- Click Print
- It will ask you to save design
- Click don't save if you are reusing the same design that is already saved
- click Save if it is a new design
- Give your file a name and click Save to Avery Account
- Click Open PDF to open the file
- Make sure that in your printer settings you choose Tray 5 (Bypass tray) and that its set to Actual size not fit to page.
- Place the labels in the bypass tray on the side of the printer, with the text side up (label side down) and release the job
