Chair audit

Chair audit procedure

  1. On the share drive look for the Chair Count template:  R:\LIS_IRS\Library Operations\Library Space\Seating
  2. Open the document and check that the furniture on the document reflects what is on the Furniture Placement document update the spreadsheet where needed and save it as Chair Count Template - "that year" and save it into a folder of that same year
  3.  Make sure when you print the counting part of the spreadsheet you are printing it on a separate page than the furniture list so that it is large enough to make markings on it.
  4. Print:
    1. 3-4 copies of the chair count, get three different staff to do each count on separate days/ shifts
    2. A copy of the front page update the information if needed. 
  5. Fill out the Chair count checks - template.xlsx with the total numbers from each check. The formulae will fill automatically to total the amount of chairs and the variances between each check.
  6. Save a copy with the year folder.
