Google Scholar

Google Scholar Citations

Google Scholar Citations provides a simple way to keep track of citations to your research outputs that are indexed in Google Scholar.

You can see who is citing your publications, a graph of your citations over time, and several citation metrics.

If you make your profile public, it will appear in Google Scholar results when people search for your name.

You can choose to have your list of articles updated automatically, review the updates yourself, or manually update your articles.

Why should I create a Google Scholar profile?

Google Scholar Citations is comprehensive. It includes reports and other documents that are not listed in other citation databases.

Repositories are a source of Google Scholar records, so make sure all of the research outputs that you would like to have listed in Google Scholar are listed in ResearchOnline@JCU.
