Researcher Profiles, Identifiers and Engagement

This guide provides information about how to create, use and promote your online research presence.

JCU Research Portfolio

Research Portfolio is the flagship web application which promotes and facilitates research activities within James Cook University.

JCU Research Portfolio profiles have high online visibility. If you search on a researcher's name in Google, their JCU profile will usually be the first item in the search results.

Each active researcher at James Cook University has a Research Portfolio profile. If you have a JCU Research Portfolio profile, use it as a central resource for promoting your research achievements. Add your other identifiers, profiles and social networks as external identifiers.

To activate your profile, you need to have at least one publication in ResearchOnline@JCU, the institutional repository of James Cook University. Your JCU Research Portfolio profile lists your 12 most recent publications, and links to your complete publication profile in ResearchOnline@JCU.
