The Library Experience team has an extensive collection of procedures available on Confluence. These detail how to do a task, who is responsible for the task, and what resources you need to complete the task. Procedures are updated regularly to ensure consistency, efficiency, sustainability and currency. It is expected that you use the procedures that have been designed for each task to best support exceptional client service.
The Team Leader trusts her staff and the library’s systems to be working well, and for staff to be using systems correctly. Library systems and staff must have integrity so that when we resolve client issues, we know that we have done everything correctly and our systems have operated as designed.
Our team has interrelated responsibilities. One activity can involve staff from across the team, or from across teams. When you do your job well, you make it easier for your colleagues to do their part of the job well.

User error can be addressed with focused self-service assistance, and outdated procedures can be updated to support the user experience. With a focus on supporting the student and client experience, staff should know and do their job well, and seek improvement in processes and their own skills.
