Researcher Profiles, Identifiers and Engagement

This guide provides information about how to create, use and promote your online research presence.

JCU Research Portfolio

The JCU Researcher Portal promotes and facilitates research activities within James Cook University. This front-facing portal allows public users to search for your profile and see your research. The portal displays publications in our institutional repository, ResearchOnline@JCU and is powered by the research information management system for JCU - GECO (Grants, Ethics, Contracts and Outputs).

Use your JCU Research profile as a central resource for promoting your research achievements. JCU Staff members and HDR students automatically have access to a research profile via GECO. To view, edit, and publish your profile simply log in to GECO using SSO.

Selected Knowledge Base articles from Service Now are below. If you have any issues or questions about using GECO, submit a ticket to Research.
