GIDEON (Global Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology Network) is a resource designed to assist with diagnosing diseases based on factors such as agent, vector, vehicle, country, etc. It contains information about diseases, including distribution, images and clinical descriptions. It also has information regarding drugs and vaccines and a microbiology section for identifying bacteria, mycobacteria and yeasts. A great resource for travel medicine.
We acknowledge the Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the first inhabitants of the nation and acknowledge Traditional Owners of the lands where our staff and students, live, learn and work.
