About this guide

This guide has been designed to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people researching family history in Queensland. It provides a list of services, archives and physical collections, digital collections and resources, and advice, that family historians can use as a starting point in their research. 

Please be aware the library does not offer dedicated research services, but can show you how to search for items in our collection and offer advice about other ways to access resources.
