What do references look like?
There are normally two parts to a reference:
In-text citations - these go in the actual body of the text. The examples below show in-text citations for the APA, Vancouver, Harvard, MLA and Chicago styles.
Each in-text citation refers to a full reference in the reference list on the right.
You wouldn't highlight them like this when you do this for real.
The reference list - This is a list of the full references. It appears on a separate sheet at the end of your assignment.
