Format

Creator C (Day Month Year) ‘Title of video’ [video], Name of Channel or Owning Organisation, Name of Website, accessed Day Month Year. URL

Note

  • Use full date (Day Month Year) for online videos.
  • Hyperlink the URL at the end of the reference after the full stop.

Field notes
  • Enter the name of the website in the Place Published field.
  • Enter the name of the channel or owning organisation in the Distributor field.
  • Enter the date (Day Month) the video was uploaded in the Date Recorded field.
  • Enter the format e.g. 'video' in the Type of Work Field.
  • Enter the date you viewed the video in the Date Accessed field.

Podcasts

Format Host H (host) and Producer P (producer) (Day Month Year) ‘Title of podcast: subtitle of podcast’ [podcast], Name of podcast, Name of Podcast Network, accessed Day Month Year. URL

  • Enter the day and month the podcast was published in the Date field.
