Social media and forum posts

Format

Author A or Organisation Name (Day Month Year) ‘Title or first 10 words of content of post ...’ [type of post], Page of Post, accessed Day Month Year. URL

Example

Services Australia (21 October 2021) 'You can get proof of your COVID-19 vaccinations online in . . .' [Facebook status], Services Australia, accessed 8 November 2021. https://www.facebook.com/ServicesAustralia/

Calgary Zoo (8 November 2021) 'Stuffed animals provide comfort, engage play, and inspire a love . . .' [Facebook status], Calgary Zoo, accessed 10 November 2021. https://twitter.com/calgaryzoo/status/1457417324248580104

CryptoCurrency (Cryptocurrency News & Discussion) (8 November 2021) 'How confident are you about your investments in crypto?' [online forum post], Reddit, accessed 8 November 2021. https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/qovisg/how_confident_are_you_about_your_investments_in/

Notes:

  • Use full date (Day Month Year) for social media and forum posts.
  • If there is no title include the first 10 words of the content followed by an ellipsis.

Field notes
  • Enter the date the item was posted into the Post Date field.
  • Enter the name of the social media page in the Affiliated Organisation field.
  • Enter the type of post in the Type of Work field.
